Foundation. ProACTIVE Parkinsons
Project which began with one person, Sarah
Johnson, attempting
to meet the unmet needs of people suffering from Parkinsons Disease,
their caregivers, their families and friends in our community.
There have been educational presentations to area clubs, organizations and civic groups, and work with medical professionals. In addition, in-home visits and family meeting facilitation has been accomplished, as well as radio and television interviews, feature articles and the development of print materials.
Our group is committed to continuing to provide support and educate people throughout the county touched by this disease.
